Detox Yoga Bites

Detox Yoga Bites
 
I didn't create this recipe and I'm not sure where it is from. If this is your recipe please let me know and I will list your blog/page as the source. My cousin found this recipe and posted it in our fitness group. It looks like it makes a HUGE batch, so beware. I haven't made these yet either but they sound really good.
  • 1 1/2 Jars Almond Butter
  • 4 Cups Nuts (whatever you'd like! Walnuts, almonds, pecans)
  • 2 Cups apple, grated and slightly dried out on a paper towel
  • 3 Carrots, grated
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 2 inch cube of ginger - coarsely chopped
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 package Hemp Hearts
 
In food processor, process nuts, ginger, chia seeds, cinnamon and nutmeg creating a grainy nut 'dough'
 
Combine nut dough in a large bowl with almond butter, apples, and carrots. Mix until everything is combined.
 
Pinch into bite size balls, roll in hemp hearts.
