Wow, my fridge was bare after being away last week lol. I took most of the food with me that I knew would go bad - I hate wasting food yet I tend to over shop :/ (working on it)
For some reason I was especially excited to go tonight. You know you're a foodie when... =D I bought a lot of the same 'ol stuff but added a few other things that were on sale.
- baby corn
- cottage cheese
- light cream cheese
- shredded unsweetened coconuts
- sundried black olives (yum!)
- unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- coffee (not in picture)
- coffee creamer (they're amazing in iced coffee!!)
How's everyone's summer going? I'm on vacation and this is the second week. I've honestly been having the greatest summer vacation in.. probably ever. Maybe it's because it's my first summer out of a shitty relationship but I've also been making myself go out of my comfort zone and try new things. I'm also pretty proud to say that I've been to the beach twice, TWICE, this summer. I don't think I went at all last year :/ How tragic.
Speaking of vacation - I've been really bad the last few weeks (again) and gained a bunch of dough back. Been focusing on getting back on track since getting back from Calgary (stayed there for the first week of my holidays visiting family). I started Zuzka Light's ZCUT power cardio series on Sunday. Today was a rest day so I did about an hour of walking around my area. It was HOT out today, like 36C with humidex. I love it :D
I'm excited for breakfast tomorrow: I'm going to have an amazing oatmeal. I haven't decided if I want raisins, coconut, or strawberries in it yet.
My mom also bought me something for my healthy food. I feel so grateful that so many people in my life are very considerate of my food choices =) This is a chip maker - so I can use apples or sweet potatoes. Going to try it out maybe tonight since hunger is striking me once again. Good night!
