Camping foods and snacks

I was supposed to leave for camping last night after visiting with a group of friends for a friend who is in from out of town but I'm sick (yes, again/still) so I decided I shouldn't go out so I can get some extra rest. I sleep bad at home and I sleep even worse at other peoples' houses and even worse in a camper or tent.
I went grocery shopping on Thursday night to pick up some stuff so I would have healthy meals to keep me on track for the weekend.

I woke up this morning with a very sore throat and painful coughing so I guess I'm not going camping this weekend. Regardless, here are some great foods to take with you if you're going camping to keep yourself on track:
  • cottage cheese
  • apples
  • bananas
  • hard boiled eggs
  • baby carrots (or other raw veggies)
  • hummus
  • mixed greens
  • Greek yogurt
  • black forest ham
  • wraps
  • avocado
Eggs and avocado toast for breakfast, apple and cottage cheese for snack, ham and lettuce wrap for lunch with a salad if I'm still hungry, carrots and hummus for snack, and then likely a hot dog for dinner (had I gone out, or maybe I'll have one to pretend I'm camping).

I slept in a bit this morning, had a great breakfast, and am hanging out in my pj's all day to help my body get better. I plan on doing my scheduled workout today but it isn't too long and is mostly stretching. We'll see how that goes. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!
