I had quite an indulgent Friday. I went to dinner with some girlfriends at a Brazilian BBQ place that recently opened up and it was amazing. The servers walk around with swords of BBQ'd meat and you can eat as much as you want for the one price. You also get to pick any sides that you want. I think I ate fairly healthy for the meal but I had a piece of cake from TWO cakes. One of the girls bought the cakes so we had cheesecake at the restaurant and she had bought another cake for when we came back to my place. That one was a chocolate cake with bananas and caramel (I think) between the layers and coated in a chocolate butter cream frosting. SO when I was invited to a BBQ yesterday I decided I'm going to be good and stay on track with a salad.
Here's my salad I took yesterday: spinach, red leaf lettuce, walnuts, peppers, mushrooms, black olives, cucumber, hard boiled eggs, and Asiago cheese. For dressing I used olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Today I have another BBQ so I plan on sticking with whatever healthier options they have. Yesterday was a rest day on the Insanity calendar but I did Turbo Fire 30 for my sins I committed on Friday night haha. Today is Max Cardio Conditioning. What are you doing today?
