New snack ideas

I've decided I need to change my afternoon snack of cottage cheese and an apple. I managed to switch my morning snack to a delicious shake so I'm determined to do this change too lol. I seriously eat basically the exact same thing every day, except I swap out a few things here and there. If you follow me on Myfitnesspal you'll have noticed this too haha.

So I just went through my Health and Self magazines, and Zuzka's website to get some new ideas. I HATE lists of ingredients. I like to keep things simple and really stick to under 5 ingredients - if that. My morning shake is: half a banana, 2-3 ice cubes, 1/2 frozen fruit, 1/3 cup non fat Greek yogurt, a handful of spinach, and 1/2 cup cold water.

So some of the things I'm looking forward to trying are:

- apple with Greek yogurt and nuts (pecans, walnuts, etc.)
- spinach and avocado wrap
- apple, raisins, and almond butter on a lettuce wrap
- Greek yogurt with berries and nuts
- apple, 1/2 orange, 2 T Greek yogurt, and 1T of nut butter on a lettuce wrap
- whole wheat tortilla, sliced apple, 1T of nut butter, sprinkled with cinnamon

Some meal ideas:
- scrambled eggs with mushroom, peas, and lettuce
- 1/2 chicken, 1/2 c brown rice, 1/2 greens salad or veggies
- spinach tortilla wrap, scrambled eggs, avocado, spinach, lettuce, tomato, chicken breast (eat half at a time)

I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow and I'm determined to switch it up FINALLY! I've said this a few times but I'm usually too lazy to try to think of new things to take to work :) I CAN do this!
