I've had this picture on my phone for a while but forgot to share it. I was craving pizza a few weeks ago but couldn't afford the calories of a real pizza so I created this with what I had in my fridge and it definitely hit the spot!
I used a Flatout wrap that I bought at Safeway (not sure if they have them anywhere else) and they are 140 calories per wrap. Spread some tomato sauce on it and topped with spinach, onion, and cheese and threw it in the oven for about 8 minutes at 425F.
Nutritional information for a full wrap (pictured above is half):
232 calories, 25g carbs, 11g of fat, 13g protein.
I'd say that's a pretty good compromise to the real deal and really, you could have two of these if it fit into your macros for the day. You can always add more veggies and meat but I didn't have any in my fridge that night lol. What's your favorite pizza topping?
