Protein powder pancakes

I wanted something different for breakfast today so I remembered that I had seen a recipe for the protein powder I bought the other week. Here's the link and it has 20 protein pancakes recipes. I adapted from #11 because I didn't need to make that much.

Here are the measurements I used:
  • 1 scoop of MusclePharm combat cookies and cream powder
  • 3T water (I didn't have coconut milk)
  • 1/2 c. quick oats
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3T egg whites
Mix or blend everything up until it's a pancake batter consistency. I initially only used 2T of water and egg whites but it was really dry so I added one more tablespoon of each. I don't think I had my pan high enough because I was waiting for the bubbles that normally happen with pancakes but they failed me and they were overcooked and hard on one side :(

They still tasted good and I will try them again with a higher heat next time. I enjoyed them with unhealthy syrup because I still have half a bottle and I refuse to throw something out if it's still good. Will be buying a low calorie one when this is done and I need to buy some new low sugar jams because the ones I have are old and should actually be thrown out.
