Tips for dining at restaurants

Image
Hello all! One of my clients was asking me what she should order because she has plans for lunch with work and dinner with her boyfriend in the next two days. So that inspired me to do a blog post about some tips that I have picked up over the last 2.5 years that will become habits and you won't even have to think twice once you start practicing them.

My sick and lazy weekend

Image
This picture and Netflix sums up my weekend. I woke up on Friday morning feeling congested and phlegmy and by Friday evening I felt even worse with body aches and chills. I slept for 8 hours Friday night, woke up on Saturday at 7:30AM, had breakfast, and literally laid on the couch ALL day and watched Vampire Diaries for over 12 hours. I can't say I'm proud of my laziness but when you're sick you need to listen to your body and mine was telling me to rest.

Flatbread pizza

I've had this picture on my phone for a while but forgot to share it. I was craving pizza a few weeks ago but couldn't afford the calories of a real pizza so I created this with what I had in my fridge and it definitely hit the spot!

Cuba!

So I went to Cuba January 3-10 with two girlfriends. Here's the white fluffy stuff I left behind - I took this picture a few hours before I got on the plane.

Some random things about me

I haven't been posting much lately so I decided to post some pictures to show you all what I've been up to!

My home gym

Hello friends! I've been a busy girl since I got back from Cuba (I also just realized I haven't posted any pictures from it, haha. I will share some in a post another day). I had my first one on one training session with a client and she is rocking her program. 5 lbs lost in less than two weeks! I'm so proud of her. This feeling is exactly why I wanted to become a personal trainer. I've created programs for people with gym memberships but I have also created and specialize in programs for you to do at home with minimal equipment. The client I just told you about works out at home too and has a couple kettle bells and some hand weights. You can get great results at home!!!
